Shirin & Farhad Application
To begin, the project is a designed application on Figma which its target audience is the old Persian people (60 and over). According to some interviews and research I conducted, this target group needs motivation to have their chores and daily activities done and life can become difficult for them some days. With this application and the two characters which accompany them through their experience, they would feel less lonely and more motivated.
This application helps elderly with designed challenges and colourful illustrations to get encouraged, receive reward for every challenge they take part in, share their experience with their friends through the application’s own social media which is highly secure, and they can buy different products from the shop section which offers different nostalgic products from the challenges designed in the application. There are lots of nostalgic illustrations in the application, such as the main page in which the house top plan was inspired from old Persian court yards, that make the elderly remember the old times and experience joyful moments.
The name of this project has been inspired from an old romantic Persian novel called Shirin & Farhad.
